Glamour on the Norfolk Coast

Last year i was really pleased to have a guest post on the blog by pattern cutter Shane Patrick from Vin Stitch, who had recently moved to the  North Norfolk coast. So imagine how thrilled we were, when Shane agreed to make my daughter's dress for the end of school prom. Isobel had a very clear idea of what she wanted, and all the fittings and fabric samples he provided ensured she got exactly what she wanted (think vintage 1930's glamour! )

I can't thank Shane enough for all his hard work and needless to say Isobel had an amazing evening. Knowing that your dress is one of a kind, and avoiding that awkward moment of another girl wearing the same dress as you (heaven forbid!) made it even more special.

For more information on Vin Stitch, please contact Shane at shane@shanepatrick.com or tel:07890349586 for further enquiries. You can follow Vin Stitch on Twitter @Vin_Stich or visit Shane's blog on Norfolk living at Guava Juice,Gem squash and the Norfolk Coast.

The dress is stunning and your daughter looks amazing in it. So much more beautiful and glamorous than all the glitzy strapless dresses that seem to abound on these occasions.

Oh she does look lovely in what must have been the most glam frock there! Just gorgeous. I agree so much more attractive than many of those thigh high, boobs out jobs so popular with many gals. Awesome choice. Hope you took lotsa pics!

Some how I've missed this post! Isobel looks beautiful, this green would be my choice of colour too.
