The Boat Race

Another new print I've been working on, is a piece called The Boat Race - i have been experimenting with getting this right, with the composition, patterns and colours in the piece. Sometimes, i find the best way to judge, is to just print the piece, and see what you can change things from there. So this is a start...perhaps a draft for the finished piece, or keep it as it is? Decisions, Decisions!

Love this new print, what happy little boats, it looks good to me - and my money is on No. 6!

Keep as is! It's great that you are thinking deeply about your art, and that you put so much work into something that could be discarded. But, I guess, that's why your stuff is so good.

This is beautiful! Love the print as it is, but I know what you mean, sometimes it's good to leave it a day or two and then come back to it with fresh eyes.

Thank you all for taking the time to post and leaving a comment. It's always good to get feedback and other opinions.Perhaps i need to be a little more decisive and just go for it!

It reminds me of the covers of the old Swallows and Amazons book and I think it has a lovely quality.
