Had a busy day printing today- a new print to compliment my Five Birds print i made last year. This time i have based the print around five stylised flowers, inspired by Scandinavian ceramic and textile design. It's always lovely printing in colour, in this case, mustard, red and a teal blue- the yellow working particularly well.
gorgeous new prints Amanda, that is a glorious golden yellow.
ReplyDeleteSuperb stuff Amanda.
ReplyDeletestunning design ! love all the colours side by side !
ReplyDeleteit may be the computer colours, but I was loving the blue!!
ReplyDeletethanks : ) It's interesting how the colour changes from the ink on the plate and lino to the finished print. The vivid blue ink, shown here on the lino was a a lot darker in the finished print : )
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, Amanda. I really love all the different colours you have used. I think the teal blue might be my favourite :)
