Blue Folk Prints

I recently brought a batch of lovely soft grey lino, to make a change from the harder brown variety i usually use. It's so much easier to carve, and lends itself beautifully to bolder cutting styles. I thought it would be fun to produce a trio of folk prints using this softer lino, restricting the prints to one colour of blue to join them all together. At this time of year, my thoughts turn to Scandinavia and it's rich history of beautiful designs, which has always an inspiration for me. Each print is just 10cm x 15cm, in an edition of 100. Now available from Folksy and Etsy

Just beautiful, they would look fantastic on fabric and ceramics, but i am sure you have thought of that already.
