Pen and Ink Drawing

Before i started lino printing, my favourite medium was pen and ink. I though it would be great to try experimenting with ink again, and concentrate on something a little different for a while. This bird was a joy to create, and using a little Photoshop in the mix to develop it further. Looking forward to creating more ink drawings in the future.

I LOVE it. This is super. I can see your attention to detail does not stop when you put down the cutter.

It would make a great wood engraving too.

Thank you everyone, after such a long time with working in Lino, it felt really liberating just creating something with pen. As much as i love the whole process of printing, i do find it really exhausting at times, so it's always good to try something different.x

A lovely bird, I think pen and ink is very similiar in ways to lino cutting.
