New prints and a chicken dilemma !

For a long time now, i have been itching to create a chicken print, it's only natural to get inspired by these beautiful birds, and anyone who keeps them knows how easily it is to get attached to them, making them a natural subject.

The problem i have is that there has been so many wonderful prints of chickens by other print makers, that i have been in a bit dilemma as to making one myself. Well why not? So i've been busy creating a new print of my chicken (Betty), sorry, but i couldn't resist ! Lots of different colours , combinations and papers, all waiting to dry. More pictures soon.

  10. You must be very pleased with the outcome. Some very nice prints. It's enjoyable and so easy to play with variations in printmaking. The red and teal versions are especially striking.
