Print and Wax Collages

Having had a great tidy up this week, i was horrified by the amount of old prints and paper i had collected, and not bothered to recycle or throw away. Silly scraps of handmade paper, books, maps , old prints that i couldn't use because of a crease of fault in the printing, the list goes on ...!

Having some left wax from the bunting, i wanted to do something with this great big pile of stuff, so made these little collages made of old lino prints and wax. I love seeing something made from things that would usually be thrown away, but that doesn't really bode well for the future in my addiction to hoarding, and keeping the mess under control! oh well : )

Thank you x It was a little light relief from printing for a change. Although it was great to have a tidy, i don't think the tidiness will last very long ; )
