I'm not quite sure what to call this one yet, but it was another print that came about by playing around with the shapes and patterns on the lino block. No pre-planning or sketching with this one, just drawing and cutting directly on to the lino, and watching the print develop and grow x
such a cohesive composition, i'm so impressed you created it "on the hoof" so to speak, what a design talent you have :)

ReplyDeleteI too am amazed at how you have run this one off. It took me a second to see the bird properly so maybe a good title could be 'hidden bird'?
