Eastern Open 2011

I'm really excited to have had my piece "North End" selected for the Eastern Open Exhibition this year. Now in it's 42nd year, the Eastern Open is a competition open to all artists from East Anglia- Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge combining drawing, painting, film, printmaking and painting. This year 128 pieces were selected by judges Professor Nick De Ville, London based artist film maker Anna Lucas and artist Poul Webb.
Having attended the opening yesterday, it was great to see such a cross section of work and encouraging to see lots of printmakers being selected for the show. (Not that i'm biased !)
The Eastern Open is being held at The King's Lynn Arts Centre King's Lynn, from 2nd April-21st May, Tues to Sat 10am -5pm.
