Hummingbirds

I've recently been feeling a little fed up, waiting patiently for the sun to  rear it's head and be able to sit in the garden without jumpers and a coat to keep me warm.  It's May and day after day of rain and grey skies are now starting to take it's toll on my mood.....i need a little sunshine!
So, fed up with the grey skies, i decided to create some prints bursting with colour and pattern, to blow away the gloom. Layering several plates with vibrant colours to produce these tropical prints.  Incidentally, i also heard that it is Save our Butterflies week, but i fear the cold weather isn't helping much. Roll on summer! Amanda x

  1. Here, here. Although at the time of reading this the sun has poked through and warmed us all up at last.

This seems a new style with the overlaying of colours and print. Quite busy and vibrant.

  2. These are great Amanda! You are truly a very special and talented artist. The sun came to us yesterday. It didn't come last summer so we been waiting soo long for this. I understand you are waiting too and until the sun reaches you I send you a lot of sunbeams!

  3. These prints are stunning! And they go very well with a hot, summer's day (or at least, a good illusion of one).

    Beautiful! :)

Line Katrin, thank you, sounds like the Norwegian summer is as slow to start as ours. Sending some of our glorious sunshine northwards to you too x

  8. I love your prints!
It's such a pity we have had no Summer weather this year in England. Just rain, rain and more rain.
