Four Crows Lino Print

I am truley fascinated by crows, rooks and ravens. Out of all of the family of birds, the Corvoid family must be one of the most fascinating and intelligent. Surround by myth and legend, the crow is a bird that has definitely made it mark in folk lore and tales around the world.
I've wanted to create a print of them for a while, but i wanted to go big! This print has really pushed how far i can actually print using the mangle, and at 30cm x 30cm it's the largest block i've printed yet. The crows are now waiting to dry and should be available next week, as part of an edition of 50.

I really like this one! Perhaps because I'm very fond of crows?
Great composition.

Really lovely print, like the two different colour ways - and great to see the block too!

I love crows too. I tend to work big when I am painting, but small when I am lino printing, but it is just that I am too lazy to carve a large block I think! Must try harder, as you have shown that the results are worth it!
